This year was my first time attending the Ghost Parade. It's an event that takes place before Carnival, with a focus on political protest.
Nevertheless, the parade now features more outrageous costumes, all of which are somewhat spooky.
As always, however, I was more focused on what was happening alongside the parade, and I was particularly taken with the elderly couple who watched the parade from their living room.
