I sold my Leica M10R to buy the Leica Q3 and thought that I was done with rangefinder cameras. But somehow, I missed that feeling, so this week I got myself an M11-D. Taking photos without a display has a very special appeal for me. And although I was initially skeptical about whether I was completely crazy, I have to admit that I haven't had this much fun taking photos in a long time. Of course, there are many disadvantages to working without autofocus and other modern aids, but on the other hand, I feel much more liberated because I don't have to think about adjusting anything.
This picture was from my first walk with the new camera. Sometimes you think, you have everything seen, what could happen in a city... and then there are people playing golf in front of the cathedral.
…I just press the shutter...
