On November 11th the new carnival session traditionally begins. In order to continue my series, I took a day of extra vacation.
The atmosphere was much more relaxed than at Carnival itself. Maybe because there weren't quite as many tourists there as at Carnival itself.
In my series, I'm not interested in showing costumes or making a documentary about Carnival, but rather I'm excited by the goings-on behind the obvious. So I was able to capture great moments that I hadn't expected before. Of course, I’m now even more excited about the upcoming events.
